Cat B Driver | Industrial Metal Deliveries | 4–5 Drops | Day Work | Strapping Loads
We’re currently looking for a reliable Cat B Van Driver to join our customer, delivering industrial metal products to customers across the local area.
This is a day work position with around 4–5 drops per day, making it a good opportunity for an experienced van driver who enjoys being out on the road and is confident handling and securing loads.
This role requires the driver to be comfortable strapping loads securely, so previous experience securing goods is highly desirable.
The Role
As a Cat B Driver, Your Day Will Involve
- Driving a Cat B van to complete deliveries
- Delivering industrial metal products
- Completing approximately 4–5 drops per day
- Carrying out day work
- Safely loading and securing goods
- Strapping loads securely before setting off
- Checking that loads are safe and suitable for transportation
- Completing vehicle checks
- Delivering goods professionally and on time
- Dealing with customers and delivery sites
- Completing delivery paperwork where required

What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking Cat B Driver who is confident handling deliveries and understands the importance of securing loads correctly.
You’ll Need
- A full Cat B / UK driving licence
- Previous van driving or delivery experience
- Experience handling loads would be an advantage
- The ability to strap and secure loads safely
- A good understanding of load security
- A professional and reliable attitude
- Good communication and customer service skills
- The ability to work independently
- Good knowledge of local roads

- Have no DD endorsements
Driving licences will be checked as part of the recruitment process.
