Job Description
Driver Hire Aberdeen is recruiting on behalf of one of our clients for an experienced commercial delivery driver, based in Altens.
Basically you will be collecting from warehouses and delivering to pharmacies and chemists across Aberdeen City & Shire You will need to be comfortable with customer-interactions, be professional and presentable.

Requirements
- Proven commercial driving experience
- Full UK driving licence
- Reliable, punctual and professional
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
Driver Assessment
You must successfully complete:
- Theory driving – Hazard Perception test
- Practical driving assessment
- 2 week on job induction
You will need to demonstrate excellent observation, anticipation and road awareness, with safe driving habits and no complacency behind the wheel.
Successful on passing the initial assessment, there will be a further two week induction to better understand the role and requirements.

Shift Pattern
- Mon – Sat, early starts, usually 7.30am
- Saturday finish usually around lunchtime
Pay
- £14.55/hr basic – £18.85/hr OT after 8 hours
- After 12 weeks: £16.00/hr basic | £20.00/hr OT
