Job Opportunity: Solicitor in Spinal Injury Team

Our client, a highly regarded law firm specialising in personal injury and clinical negligence, is seeking a Solicitor to join its established Spinal Injury team in London.

Role Responsibilities

You will work alongside experienced and highly regarded lawyers, handling a varied caseload of complex injury claims, with a particular focus on spinal injury matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing a high-quality, client-focused service throughout the lifecycle of each claim.
  • Managing a caseload of complex, primarily multi-track personal injury and clinical negligence claims.
  • Acting for claimants in high-value and catastrophic injury matters.
  • Conducting legal research and preparing correspondence, pleadings and other legal documentation.
  • Working in accordance with the Civil Procedure Rules and relevant protocols.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues and external professionals to progress claims effectively.
  • Contributing to the continued development and growth of the firm.

Ideal Candidate

The Successful Candidate Will Ideally

  • Be a qualified Solicitor with 3–6 years' PQE.
  • Have experience representing claimants in personal injury and/or clinical negligence matters.
  • Have a strong interest in developing a career specialising in spinal injury claims.
  • Have experience handling high-value, multi-track and catastrophic injury or clinical negligence claims.
  • Have an excellent understanding of the Civil Procedure Rules and relevant protocols.
  • Demonstrate excellent client care and communication skills.
  • Be confident managing a complex caseload with an appropriate level of autonomy.
  • Have strong IT, administrative, organisational and research skills.
  • Be hardworking, proactive and collaborative, with a personable approach.
  • Demonstrate an interest in business development and contributing to the wider growth of the firm. Marketing experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
