The role
We’re looking for a proactive, commercially curious and highly analytical Category Analyst to join the core area of our business. You’ll turn data and market information into clear reporting and actionable recommendations that drive better business decisions.
This role will suit someone who enjoys getting into the detail and turning data into a compelling story to present and discuss with wider teams. You’ll be naturally curious about consumers and the wider market, with the confidence to challenge constructively and make evidence-led recommendations. We're looking for someone who thrives in a team environment, enjoys working collaboratively with others and can build strong relationships across the business.
You’ll play an important role in building category knowledge across the business, supporting the wider Category and Commercial teams, and helping brand owners and retail partners identify opportunities for growth.
If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you.
Where and how you'll work
This is a full-time role based at our Central Manchester office, working closely with colleagues across Commercial, Procurement, Supply Chain, Technical and Finance.
We believe there is real value in learning alongside others and being close to the conversations, decisions and relationships that shape our business. Through day-to-day collaboration and office osmosis you’ll build a strong understanding of our brands, categories and the wider business.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
