Welcome to the Boots ROI team – an exciting team at the heart of the Boots Ireland trading function. As customers are changing, so are we! We’re focusing on really understanding our customers’ needs through insights and trends, which support us to deliver the most comprehensive Sun, Mens, Hair, Toiletries, Luxury Bathing and Seasonal offering in the Irish market, under one roof.
What you’ll be doing
In this fast-paced role, you will support the Category Manager & team in delivering our annual budget. You’ll work closely with both the Irish and UK Trading teams to ensure we meet our business priorities.
Key responsibilities
- Supporting the sales plan for the category and enhancing the customer journey through setting up promotions.
- Providing exceptional communication and problem-solving support to our stores.
- Building strong relationships with UK counterparts.
- Setting up new items in order to land NPD into the business.
- Working with other teams such as Marketing & Pricing to ensure set ups are right first time.
- Confirming promotional funding with suppliers ensuring this is logged correctly on a tracker so it can be invoiced.

What you’ll need to have (our must-haves)
- Strong organisational skills to help manage multiple big brands across various subcategories.
- Strong Office Skills (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
- Exceptional communication skills, ensuring accuracy and a “right first time” mentality.
- Strong presentation skills and ability to delve into reporting requirements.
It Would Be Great If You Also Have
- Experience analysing and reporting data.
- A passion for retail and a focus on career development within the trading function.
