Join Our Team as a Category Assistant - GM at Boots in Nottingham!

Are you ready to make a difference in a dynamic team that’s at the heart of our business? At Boots, we’re looking for a passionate Category Assistant to join our General Merchandise Business Unit. This is your chance to contribute to creating compelling reasons for customers to shop with us, while enjoying a supportive and inclusive work environment.

About The Role

As a Category Assistant, you will play a critical role in delivering a differentiated, competitive, and customer-led range in store. You’ll work closely with various teams to ensure our promotions and pricing are spot on, helping our customers feel good every time they shop with us.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the delivery of customer promotions by setting up campaign offers on the Boots SAP system.
  • Collaborate with marketing and pricing teams to ensure accurate setups.
  • Confirm promotional funding with suppliers and maintain accurate tracking.
  • Check invoice calculations and liaise with the Trading Process team.
  • Support the stores help desk and customer care team with category queries.

What You’ll Need To Have (Our Must-Haves)

  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with various teams and suppliers.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn.

It Would Be Great If You Also Have

  • Experience in retail or a similar role.
  • Familiarity with SAP or similar systems.
  • A passion for customer service and delivering results.
