We are currently recruiting for a Category B Van Driver, this is an early start role where you will be delivering food products to Restaurants. The days you will be expected to work are Tuesday to Saturday, starting at 02:00 in the morning.
This is ongoing work, with the opportunity of going full time for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete multi-drop deliveries to commercial and residential customers
- Load, transport and deliver goods safely and professionally
- Carry out vehicle checks before and after each shift
- Operate a variety of vehicles, including Luton vans, long wheelbase vans, flatbed vans and refrigerated vans
- Deliver products such as building materials, timber, windows, doors, food products, hygiene supplies, furniture and general goods
- Maintain accurate delivery paperwork where required
- Provide excellent customer service during collections and deliveries
- Follow all road transport legislation and company procedures

Qualifications
Essential
- Full UK Category B driving licence
- No more than 6 penalty points
- Previous multi-drop delivery experience
- Own transport to travel to and from client locations
- Flexible and reliable approach to work
- Ability to accept occasional short-notice assignments
- Good knowledge of safe loading and delivery practices
Desirable
- Experience driving multiple van types
- Knowledge of South Devon road network
