Location: Warrington (3 days per week in the office)

The Opportunity
We're looking for a motivated Category Buyer to join our growing team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience across procurement, supplier management, contract administration, and stakeholder engagement while working alongside experienced procurement professionals.
Whether you're already working in a procurement role or have developed transferable skills in purchasing, administration, project coordination, supply chain or a related commercial role, this could be the perfect next step in your career.
What You'll Be Doing
- Support the administration and delivery of tender exercises, mini-competitions, call-off contracts, and framework agreements.
- Prepare, maintain, and manage procurement documentation, records, and contract files.
- Coordinate tender submissions, evaluations, clarification processes, and contract award activities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders.
- Support supplier onboarding, performance monitoring, and ongoing supplier relationship management.
- Maintain accurate procurement and contract management data, producing reports as required.
- Provide day-to-day procurement and administrative support to Category Managers and the wider team.

About You
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
- A confident communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to manage competing priorities and work effectively to deadlines.
- Proactive, enthusiastic, and keen to learn.
- Strong administrative and coordination skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and document management systems.
- A team player with a positive attitude and a desire to develop a long-term career in procurement.
- Experience in procurement, purchasing, administration, supply chain, project co-ordination or a related commercial role would be beneficial, but not essential.
- Knowledge of procurement processes or public procurement regulations would be beneficial, but not essential.
