Data Team Overview
Data is a critical asset for Rubix, directly supporting our growth and wider business strategy. The Data Team plays a key role in deploying and maintaining our core product assortment across our ERP systems, ensuring that product, supplier and pricing information is accurate, consistent and fit for purpose.
Category Data Administrator
As a Category Data Administrator, you will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day management of product and category data. Working closely with colleagues across Product Management, Supply Chain, Pricing and Digital, you will help maintain high-quality data and support projects that improve the accuracy and effectiveness of our systems.
What You'll Be Doing
- Completing data tickets through our Freshservice portal accurately, efficiently and within agreed timescales.
- Requesting updates to product, category, supplier and pricing data across relevant business systems.
- Carrying out regular data checks and basic data cleansing activities to identify and resolve inaccuracies, inconsistencies or missing information.
- Supporting wider data projects and initiatives, including ad hoc data analysis, cleansing and maintenance activities.
- Preparing simple reports to support business and team requirements.
- Supporting where needed in the preparation, maintenance and ongoing management of Core Supplier price files.
- Working with internal stakeholders to investigate and resolve data queries and help maintain high standards of data quality.
- Building effective working relationships with Product Management, Supply Chain, Pricing and Digital teams.
- Developing a detailed understanding of our product data structures and how different data sets and systems interact across both the UK business and wider Rubix Group.
- Supporting the team with additional administrative and data-related activities as required.
