Category Executive – FTC
Contract: Fixed-Term Contract until end of December 2027
Flexible hybrid working policy: Working across customer sites, home and office
Base Location: One of our MMI sites – East Kilbride, Skelmersdale, Manchester, Market Drayton, Droitwich, Severnside or Bridgwater
At Müller Milk & Ingredients, we play a vital role in keeping Britain stocked with fresh, locally sourced dairy. Working with British farmers and a national network of dairies, we deliver high-quality milk, cream and ingredients to retailers and customers every day. We’re looking for someone at the start of their career to join our Category Development team as a Category Executive. This is your chance to learn, grow and make a real impact.
What you’ll be doing
- Develop your ability to turn data into clear insights and recommendations
- Work closely with Category Managers on projects and presentations
- Support the creation of monthly category reports and insights
- Maintain key trackers including pricing and promotions
- Ensure data is accurate, organised and easy to use
- Own our monthly Category Bulletin and share in-store highlights
- Work cross-functionally to provide data and insight to stakeholders

What we’re looking for
- A positive, can-do approach and willingness to get stuck in
- Resilience and adaptability in a busy, fast-paced environment where no two weeks are the same
- Strong attention to detail and organisation skills
- Confidence working with numbers and data
- Basic Excel and PowerPoint skills
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Interest in retail, supermarkets or shopper behaviour is a plus
