The role:
As category executive you will support the category managers and the development of growth campaigns to increase market share and drive revenue with customers.
The category executive will analyse market trends and customer insights to inform product and category strategies
The category executive is responsible for identifying new growth opportunities and developing category management plans to meet customer and business needs
The category executive will collaborate cross-functionally with Buying, Sales, and Suppliers to ensure effective execution of category strategies
You will also coordinate with the campaign & activation team for effective promotions
As category executive you will be involved in supporting both own brand and branded business across various channels.

Ideal candidate:
Proven experience in a commercial setting or a related role, preferably within the food or retail industry
Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and opportunities in data
You will be a creative thinker with a flair for innovation and “thinking outside the box”
Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder communication skills, you will also have strong negotiation skills and have a result focussed mindset towards delivering success.
Passion for food and understanding of consumer needs are advantageous
Confident in working cross-functionally with internal departments and external suppliers

£32k plus pension and healthcare
Hybrid Working – 2 days a week in the office, 3 days a week from home
