Category Lead – Global Facilities Management (Hard & Soft Services) - London – 3 days per week in the office - £90,000 – £120,000 + Excellent Benefits Package

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a globally recognised household brand as a Category Lead for Facilities Management, taking ownership of a significant global spend portfolio across both Hard and Soft FM services.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly established, best-in-class procurement function within a global organisation undergoing a major transformation, with significant investment in procurement, technology and innovation.

The business is looking for an experienced FM procurement leader who can drive change, challenge the status quo and deliver genuine commercial impact on a global scale.

You will be joining a highly reputable, globally recognised household brand with a truly international footprint and an established, high-performing procurement function. The organisation is undergoing an exciting period of transformation, with procurement playing a central role in shaping its future strategy.

This is a high-profile position offering genuine autonomy, exposure to senior global leadership and the opportunity to influence how FM services are sourced and managed internationally. You will have the platform to drive meaningful change, introduce innovative sourcing strategies and deliver significant commercial value across a complex global business.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of global FM category strategies across Hard and Soft Services.
  • Manage complex, high-value sourcing projects and commercial negotiations across international markets.
  • Drive procurement transformation, supplier consolidation, cost optimisation and operational efficiencies.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders globally to align procurement strategies with wider business objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation, sustainability and improved supplier performance.
  • Develop strategic supplier relationships, ensuring commercial competitiveness, service quality and risk mitigation.
  • Challenge existing procurement practices and introduce new approaches to deliver measurable business value.

What we're looking for:

  • Strong FM category expertise across both Hard and Soft Services – essential.
  • Proven experience working within an established, best-in-class procurement function, ideally within a large multinational organisation.
  • Experience developing and implementing strategic category plans across complex, high-value spend portfolios.
  • Strong commercial negotiation skills with a track record of delivering significant savings and value.
  • Experience managing international or global stakeholders, ideally with exposure to multiple geographical markets.
  • Ability to influence senior leadership, challenge existing approaches and drive change.
  • A commercially astute, proactive and ambitious procurement professional who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
