The Category Lead will Business Partner with key stakeholders for assigned categories to deliver projects, develop category strategies and drive value delivery for the business. The Category Lead will also look to continually develop the supplier base to generate additional value through managing risk, fulfilling sustainability targets and driving innovation.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead development and implementation of the category strategies (i.e. HR, NPD, Technical Services, Travel, Professional Services, Marketing),
- Be responsible for supplier sourcing, tender process through to contract award and continuous contract performance management
- Leveraging supplier resources for optimising value delivery through total cost savings and driving innovation, sustainability and managing risk
- Manage key supplier relationships and as required measure and review supplier performance on a regular basis
- Business partnering with Key Stakeholders
- Management of risk to ensure continuity of supply

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- At least 5 years of indirect spend categories (ideally within a FMCG business)
- Degree level education
- Category Management experience
- Negotiation and E-Sourcing
- Risk Management experience
- Business Partnering experience
