Role Overview
To own the end-to-end performance and strategy of a defined product or category across all markets and sales channels, ensuring the portfolio delivers sustainable revenue growth, margin expansion, and competitive differentiation throughout the product / category lifecycle.
To establish and deliver defined and structured product / category roadmaps identifying both current and future market opportunities and owning the process from innovation, go to market, marketing, production and end of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver clear product/category strategies and roadmaps aligned to overall business objectives, driving revenue growth and profitability
- Define and communicate compelling value propositions tailored to target users, customers, and markets
- Generate robust market insights, including segmentation, forecasting, competitor analysis, and identification of growth opportunities
- Own the full product lifecycle (concept to end-of-life), optimising portfolio performance and supporting effective planning and forecasting processes
- Set and manage commercial performance targets (revenue, margin, growth), working cross-functionally to deliver results and address gaps
- Lead pricing strategy and value-based selling approaches to maximise margin and ensure consistent market positioning
- Drive new product development (NPD), from concept through to launch, including business cases, specifications, and cross-functional delivery
- Oversee marketing direction by briefing teams, shaping messaging, and ensuring high-quality, consistent execution across channels
- Ensure regulatory compliance and act as the technical/product expert, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and requirements
- Build and manage strong stakeholder relationships, influencing across functions to ensure alignment, effective decision-making, and successful delivery

- Previous experience working in Category or Product Management.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, production processes, and supply chain dynamics.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into commercial outcomes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Data-driven mindset with strong analytical ability.
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and product lifecycle management tools.
- Must have a valid UK Driving Licence.
- Willingness to work at various UK locations to deliver on projects.
