CapEx & Facilities Investments
Contract type: Permanent
Location: Market Drayton, hybrid working with occasional UK travel
At Müller, we’re passionate about delivering quality products while creating a sustainable future. As our Procurement Category Manager for CapEx & Facilities, you’ll lead a complex spend area, partnering closely with engineering and business stakeholders to shape how we invest, innovate and grow.
What you’ll be doing
- Leading a complex CapEx and facilities spend area across capital projects, production equipment and engineering services, managing £100m of external spend
- Creating and delivering category strategies aligned to business and group priorities
- Building strong partnerships with engineering and senior stakeholders to drive specification engagement and compliance
- Providing market insight, data analysis and recommendations to support planning and decision making
- Managing suppliers through effective relationship strategies to deliver against KPIs and unlock long-term value
- Supporting strategic projects including major investments and new product launches
- Driving continuous improvement and efficiency across sourcing activities and processes

What we’re looking for
- Proven procurement experience in CapEx, engineering or technical categories
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence and challenge to drive value
- Confident stakeholder manager, able to communicate and present effectively at all levels
- Ability to turn strategy into action and deliver sourcing activity at pace
- Strong data analysis and insight capability
- Solid project management skills across complex sourcing events
- Knowledge of procurement processes and controls, ideally with CIPS L5/6 qualification
