Category Manager
Application Deadline: 21 October 2026
Department: Sales
Employment Type: Full Time
Location: Burton Latimer
Description
At Weetabix, we believe that diverse teams drive better ideas, stronger decisions, and a more inclusive workplace for everyone. We’re committed to building an organisation where people from all walks of life feel they belong—where different voices, experiences, and backgrounds are valued and respected.
Closing date: 21st October
Interview process: 2 Stage Interview Process
Working pattern: You’ll spend three days a week in the office, creating great opportunities to collaborate, strengthen team connections and build high‑impact working relationships face to face. Travel to different customers will be required as part of this role.
We are recruiting for two Category Manager opportunities. One role will lead the relationship with one of our major grocery customers, while the second role will manage the relationship across a number of customers across other channels.
As Category Manager, you will play a key role in driving sustainable growth across our priority retail customers and channels. Using shopper, consumer and market insights, you'll turn data into clear, commercially focused strategies that create value for both our customers and the business.
Working cross-functionally with teams across Brand, Innovation, Revenue Management and Supply Chain, you'll bring our category vision to life through tailored customer growth plans. This includes optimising product ranges, shelf space, pricing and pack architecture, in-store activation and online presence to unlock new opportunities for growth.
Looking ahead, you'll help shape the future of category management by strengthening our omnichannel approach across grocery, convenience and online retail, embedding technology-enabled analytics to accelerate insight generation, and developing scalable ways of working that improve speed, consistency and impact.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
