Ready to make a real commercial impact in foodservice?
We’re recruiting on behalf of a successful and growing business for an experienced Category Manager, Buyer, Senior Buyer or senior sales professional to join their commercial team and take ownership of key categories across the foodservice and wholesale market.
This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially driven professional with experience in foodservice, catering, buying, category management or sales to make a real difference. Whether you’re looking to progress your career in category management or bring your customer, supplier and commercial expertise from a senior sales role, this could be an excellent next step.
This is a role with real influence. You’ll shape ranges, pricing and promotions, build strategic supplier partnerships, negotiate commercial opportunities and directly drive sales, margin and profit.
You’ll work with major suppliers and internal teams to identify opportunities, develop winning category strategies and deliver the best possible proposition for customers. You’ll also have the opportunity to mentor others and help shape the future of your categories.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
