c£60k plus benefits
A new opportunity for a Category Manager to support Group Business Services has arisen with a West Sussex based employer.
Working in a mature procurement function you will lead on category strategy for Business Services (Customer Service and Facilities Management).
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver category strategies across the Business Services portfolio
- Lead complex end to end sourcing and tender activities (RFI, RFQ)
- Build and maintain category pipelines and procurement roadmaps
- Partner stakeholders to understand current and future business requirements
- Develop sourcing strategies and commercial approaches
- Lead supplier engagement, tender evaluations and commercial negotiations
- Deliver value, savings and commercial outcomes linked to business objectives
- Build robust senior stakeholder relationships
- Support procurement system and project work.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate previous Category Management experience within an indirect function (ideally facilities, professional services). Experience of leading outsourced procurement deals would be an advantage.

- Be able to commute to the West Sussex office twice per week
