c.£55,000 + 20% Bonus + benefits package

Talent Drive are supporting a leading food service business who are looking for a commercially minded Category Manager to take ownership of its Dairy category, joining a fast paced and highly collaborative procurement team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys combining strategic category management, supplier negotiations and stakeholder engagement to drive real commercial impact across a significant spend portfolio.

You do not necessarily need to be a Dairy specialist. The client are interested in strong category professionals from Food, FMCG, Retail, Foodservice or similarly fast paced environments who can bring the right commercial mindset and category management capability.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

You will also have responsibility for managing and developing a Buyer, so this is a great next step for someone looking to broaden their leadership experience alongside owning a key category.

The team itself is young, sociable and commercially driven, so this will particularly suit someone who enjoys working collaboratively, brings energy to the role and is comfortable operating in a fast moving environment.
