About the role

We are looking for a superstar Category Manager to join our EU team! In this role, you will lead Skincare & Fragrance category performance, portfolio management and strategic growth across Europe, within the priorities agreed with the Senior Category Manager. Own category plans, innovation and promotional opportunities, using shared analytical support to strengthen hero products, optimise portfolio performance and deliver commercially relevant launches.

As a Category Manager you will:

  • Develop and deliver Skincare & Fragrance category strategy to achieve Retail and Gross sales and market share expectations, aligned with the Senior Category Manager.
  • Build category visions, growth plans and portfolio architecture, translating global brand and product strategy into regional plans focused on hero products, innovation and promotional opportunities.
  • Review sales, market share and portfolio productivity with the shared Category Analyst; own recommendations and actions addressing performance gaps and growth opportunities.
  • Monitor competitors and European market needs; develop business cases for new products and sets, working with the Senior Category Manager and global partners.
  • Manage category new product development (NPD) and promotional product plans, aligning launch priorities with the wider European portfolio and identifying local sub-category opportunities.
  • Own category forecasting inputs and volume assumptions for NPD and core; review analytical inputs and partner with Supply Chain and markets on availability and stock risks.
  • Optimise the Skincare & Fragrance portfolio for differentiated channel strategies across Specialty, Department Stores and Online/Pure Players.
  • Develop and implement agreed pricing, positioning and lifecycle recommendations, continuously reviewing pricing ladders, competitiveness and value perception with the Senior Category Manager.
  • Lead category launch planning and readiness with Go-To-Market, VM, Sales, REOPS and Communications, ensuring alignment of product requirements and execution across markets.
  • Oversee sampling, post-production units (PPUs), tokens of appreciation (TOAs) and AOV drivers, owning volume, regional adaptation and deployment requirements with Analyst support for coordination and tracking.
  • Evaluate launch attainment and sell-through with the Category Analyst; translate post-launch findings into corrective actions and improvements to future category plans.
  • Brief, prioritise and review shared Analyst work alongside the other Category Manager; provide coaching and feedback, escalating competing priorities to the Senior Category Manager.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
