A leading international food business is looking for a commercially minded Category Manager to join its Category & Insight team.

This role will focus on driving category growth across major UK grocery customers by turning shopper, consumer and market insight into clear commercial action. You will build trusted relationships with retail customers, create compelling category stories and influence decisions across range, innovation and in-store and online execution.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Analyse shopper, consumer, category and market data
  • Translate insight into clear recommendations and customer presentations
  • Develop category growth plans for key grocery retailers
  • Support category reviews and range optimisation projects
  • Identify NPD and assortment opportunities
  • Build strong relationships with retail customers
  • Influence internal Commercial, Marketing, Innovation and Operations teams
  • Help shape long-term category strategy

What We're Looking For

  • Category Management, Category Insight or Shopper Marketing experience within FMCG
  • Experience working with UK grocery retailers
  • Strong analytical and commercial capability
  • Excellent presentation and storytelling skills
  • Confidence influencing customers and internal stakeholders
  • A curious, consumer-focused and collaborative approach
