Your Purpose
We are looking to recruit a Category Manager to join our brilliant Off Trade Team and play an integral role in driving profitable growth for our customers and internal teams through delivery of best-in-class actionable insight.
You’ll be tasked with delivering category leadership to our retail partners. Using the wealth of shopper, customer and category insight you have at your disposal to recommend tactics and strategies that unlock category growth and earn trusted advisor status.
Working collaboratively with our brand, commercial and activation teams you will ensure we bring the customer viewpoint to the heart of our commercial planning process and help to shape our long-term strategy.

Stakeholder Management will be key, as you’ll be driving relationships internally to guide our Business Unit Controllers & Customer Business Managers to have the right conversations at the right time whilst driving key insights into plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain strong relationship with our retail partners, becoming a credible and knowledgeable partner for category advice.
- Be the expert for your customers/channel, drive awareness of the category trends and translate into relevant actions.
- Support the development of the Molson Coors category vision and take ownership for tailoring it to allocated customers.
- Create and engage retail partners with best in class thought leadership on key topics to help them lead the market.
- Upskill internal teams around category capability, developing understanding and usage of category selling tools.
- Identify and define insight led category opportunities and risks and take accountability for resolving these
- Provide recommendations on optimal range assortment and merchandising to support customer range reviews.
Required
This role is a Fixed Term Contract until June 2027
- Commercial and category expertise, with a solid understanding of the UK FMCG landscape and major retailer strategies.
- Proven analytical capability, able to interpret complex data, generate clear insights, and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
- Proficient in market data and category tools, including Circana, Kantar, Dunnhumby, Sales Out data, and space planning software.
- Excellent relationship‑building skills, with a track record of developing and maintaining strong customer and stakeholder partnerships.
- Compelling storyteller, confident in creating and delivering persuasive selling stories tailored to different audiences.
- Collaborative team player, experienced in working effectively within cross‑functional environments.
- Strong influencing and communication skills, with the confidence to challenge thinking and guide decisions at senior levels.

Pay And Benefits
At Molson Coors, we’re committed to paying people fairly and equitably for the work they do.
Our Total Rewards package includes a base salary of £47,400 to £62,160 plus a 9.5% target annual bonus, alongside a comprehensive benefits offering designed to support different needs and life stages. Benefits are flexible and include health, dental and vision coverage, a pension with up to 10% employer match, wellbeing support, an Employee Assistance Programme, life leave, and 31 days’ annual leave plus 3 bank holidays, with the option to buy or sell additional holiday.
The salary range shown above reflects what we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of posting. Final pay is based on a number of non‑discriminatory factors, such as required work location, previous experience, skills and internal equity.
