Category Manager – Grocery
Working for one of the UK’s largest branded and private label manufacturers
West London – Office based
Our client is a branded and private label food manufacturer with instantly recognisable leading brands in multiple categories.
A business that develops brilliant food for both customers and consumers and enjoyed by millions across the UK. Employing over 60,000 globally they are one of the worlds biggest food companies.
Currently seeking a passionate, experienced and resilient Category Manager to join the team. As a business they are able to offer you a high level of autonomy balanced with a team focused culture. If you are looking for a role where you can make a big impact then this could be the one for you!
The Role
- Manage the day to day relationships with the customers to unlock opportunities for the business
- Developing and leading the strategic category vision
- Lead Range Reviews & Category Performance Reviews
- Build collaborative and independent relationships with key customer stakeholders to become a trusted partner and influence change
- Develop objective space to sales recommendations and ensuring this is aligned to range review objectives and Category Vision growth opportunities

The Candidate
- You will have proven category management experience working within an FMCG environment
- Your approach must be very analytical in order to influence the category agenda
- Experience of a variety of shopper data types
- Private label experience would also be an advantage but not a must have
- The role will involve cross functional team working therefore the ability to successfully develop and maintain relationships by adopting a collaborative working style is crucial
