Role: Category Manager

Sector: HVAC & Renewables

Location: West Midlands (initially on-site but then with hybrid option)

Salary: £50,000-£60,000 per annum, plus bonus and car

Our Client

A leading distributor of Plumbing & Heating products, air conditioning equipment, ventilation products and renewables. They supply into plumbers / builders merchants and the wider construction sector. A business with a National Network throughout the UK and National coverage.

We are recruiting for a proven individual from the world of HVAC and renewables who can help bring new products to the market and develop existing sales channels for stock that’s already currently being marketed.

You will take ownership of the company’s HVAC and renewables product range from a category management perspective but moving forward the role could become more diverse as you become an integral part of the overall team. If you also have experience of business development and have a good commercial background then this would be great.

The requirements of this role though are though are that you must have experience with the HVAC sector, Plumbing & Heating products, air conditioning equipment, ventilation products and renewables etc. You must understand the products in depth and you should also have demonstrable category management experience too or some very similar and very relatable working history.

We need someone who understands the HVAC and renewables sector, the suppliers, the products, is able to bring new renewables product ranges to market and ideally knowledge about the process around government funding.
