An opportunity to join an established and continuously growing food group working across highly innovative product areas. Committed to their continued growth they now seek to recruit a driven Category Manager to work on a portfolio of major accounts.
Office based
Reporting to the Head of Category;
- You will take responsibility for developing and implementing category strategies and tactics across all channels and specifically key retail accounts
- You will have day to day exposure to the customers, and you will be tasked with supporting the commercial manager to help increase profitability through a very proactive approach.
- You will be responsible for driving growth through category management taking responsibility for ensuring that all internal & external market research information is analysed in detail at every level in order to identify opportunities

- You will have gained experience either at an executive or Category manager level within a food environment. Own label knowledge would be highly beneficial although not essential
- You will be able to demonstrate a strong commercial awareness combined with a proactive track record.
- With a minimum if a couple of years experience you will be enthused by the autonomy within this role combined with the level of customer contact and strategic influence you will have.
