About Our Client
Our client is a fast-growing global wellness brand on a mission to help people achieve optimal hydration and unlock their best daily performance. Having grown from a DTC launch into Amazon and major retail across the UK and internationally, they're now looking for their first Category hire to help shape the next stage of growth.
The Opportunity
This is a highly strategic role sitting at the heart of the Commercial team. You'll turn shopper, market and EPOS data into compelling category stories, helping the business grow with key retail partners while shaping longer-term category strategy. You'll work closely across Sales, Marketing and Product, with real ownership over how the category develops.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and own category strategy across the brand's retail accounts, acting as the voice of the customer and category
- Track and report on key category KPIs including distribution, rate of sale and market share
- Partner with Sales to build data-led category selling stories and inform range review submissions
- Analyse EPOS, market, shopper and competitor data to identify growth opportunities and white space
- Develop pricing, promotional and NPD recommendations grounded in shopper insight
- Build strong, credible relationships with retail buyers and category teams
Ideal Background
- Experience in category management within FMCG, ideally across health & wellness, drinks or grocery
- Strong analytical skills with experience using EPOS and/or market data tools such as Nielsen/IRI or Kantar
- Confident building and presenting compelling, data-led selling stories to retail buyers
- Commercially minded, with strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with competing priorities
- A proactive mindset and curiosity around using AI to improve efficiency and ways of working
