We're recruiting a Category Manager to join one of the UK's largest food businesses. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in Category Management, Category Insights or Shopper Marketing who is looking to develop their skills, gain exposure to major UK retailers and accelerate their career within a large FMCG organisation.

This role would suit a Category Executive, Senior Category Executive, Analyst or Junior Category Manager ready for a bigger challenge and greater responsibility.

The Opportunity

Joining an established Category & Insight team, you'll help drive category growth across key retail customers by turning data and insight into actionable recommendations that influence both customer and business decisions.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Analysing shopper, consumer and market data to identify growth opportunities.
  • Creating compelling, insight-led category stories and recommendations.
  • Building strong relationships with retail customers and becoming a trusted category partner.
  • Supporting category reviews, range optimisation projects and innovation recommendations.
  • Working closely with Commercial, Marketing, NPD and Operations teams to bring category plans to life.
  • Helping develop category growth strategies that deliver value for both customers and the business.

About You

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Experience in Category Management, Category Insights, Shopper Marketing or a related FMCG role.
  • Strong analytical skills and an ability to work with multiple data sources.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills.
  • The confidence to build relationships with internal stakeholders and customers.
  • A curious mindset and passion for understanding shopper and consumer behaviour.
  • The drive and ambition to continue developing their career.
