SK AeroSafety Group is a global provider of aviation aftermarket services, supporting commercial and military operators worldwide. Your Opportunity

As a Category Specialist, you'll play a key role in developing commercial opportunities across our Product Sales portfolio. Working closely with customers and internal teams, you'll identify opportunities to maximise inventory utilisation, deliver commercial solutions and provide exceptional customer support.

  • Manage customer enquiries, quotations and sales opportunities while building strong relationships with airlines, MROs and aviation partners.
  • Work alongside Operations, Customer Services, Purchasing and Logistics to help ensure our customers receive the right solution at the right time.
  • Depending on your experience and level of appointment, take increasing ownership of customer accounts, product categories and strategic commercial opportunities while contributing to the continued development of our growing Product Sales department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
  • Manage customer enquiries from initial contact through to successful completion.
  • Identify new commercial opportunities to increase sales, margin and inventory utilisation.
  • Promote outright sales, exchange solutions, loan support and other commercial services.
  • Prepare quotations and negotiate commercially beneficial agreements.
  • Work closely with Operations, Purchasing, Logistics and Customer Services to deliver outstanding customer support.
  • Monitor market activity, customer demand and product trends to identify future opportunities.
  • Contribute to sales forecasting, reporting and commercial planning activities.
  • Support the continued growth and development of the Product Sales department.
  • Depending on your level of appointment, provide commercial leadership, mentor colleagues and manage key customer relationships.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for commercially minded individuals who enjoy building relationships, solving customer challenges and delivering results. You'll be proactive, customer-focused and motivated by identifying opportunities that create value for both the customer and the business.

  • Ideally, you'll have experience in commercial sales, account management, business development or a customer-facing commercial role.
  • Previous experience within aviation, aerospace, MRO or another technical environment would be advantageous, although it isn't essential.
  • You'll possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, be organised and self-motivated, and enjoy working collaboratively across multiple departments.
  • Strong commercial awareness, attention to detail and the ability to manage several priorities simultaneously are essential.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office is expected, while knowledge of ERP systems such as Quantum would be an advantage.

Successful applicants will be appointed as Category Specialist Level 1, Level 2 or Level 3, depending on experience, capability and industry knowledge.
