About The Role:

Days of Working: This position will be based at Maudsley Hospital, Denmark Hill, but with overall remit for all hospitals within the South London and Maudesley Trust, working Monday - Friday, you may be required to work additional hours to meet the needs of the business.

As a Catering Administrator at OCS, you will play a key role in supporting the smooth and efficient running of catering operations. Working closely with the stores and catering teams, you will ensure that food orders, hospitality bookings and administrative processes are managed accurately and in a timely manner.

This is a fast-paced and varied role, requiring strong organisational skills, attention to detail and effective communication to ensure service delivery runs seamlessly across the site.

As part of your role, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Liaise with the stores team to ensure food orders are received and accurately input into ordering systems
  • Place orders using company and supplier online systems, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Manage hospitality bookings, both electronically and manually, across multiple service areas
  • Collate and manage food orders through electronic meal ordering systems
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, clients and service users to ensure accurate information sharing
  • Maintain accurate records and support the smooth coordination of catering operations

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

  • Right to Work in the UK and willingness to undergo a DBS check.
  • Experience in a busy administrative or catering support role
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Full working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
  • A proactive, reliable and team-focused approach
