Catering and Hospitality Assistant (Part time, 30 hours per week)
REF: SP620
Salary will be £26,436 per annum pro rata (£12.71 per hour)
Catering & Hospitality Assistants play a super-important role in the UEA’s ‘The Campus Kitchen’ in providing efficient support for barista and food service throughout the day.
Working in the Sportscafe at UEA’s Sportspark, you will assist with:
- Preparation and service of food and drinks
- Delivered catering
- Keeping our outlets clean and tidy
- Assisting at a variety of functions and events

You will demonstrate the ability to work hard within a fast-paced environment; knowledge and experience of working busy catering outlets; consistently demonstrate great customer service; display enthusiasm and have a willingness to support your team.

Previous experience of working in a hospitality environment with some barista training or experience is essential. You will be required to work 4 or 5 out of 7 days (days per week to be agreed with the successful candidate), day, weekend and evening shifts.
This part-time (30 hours per week) role is available immediately on an indefinite basis.
This post is based in the UEA Campus Kitchen, University of East Anglia, Norwich, Norfolk, UK.
The vacancy is not eligible for VISA sponsorship, and you will need to hold or be able to obtain the right to work in the UK to undertake this role.
