CATERING ASSISTANT
Salary: £27,628.81 per annum
Working Hours: Permanent, Full Time, 40 hours per week [Monday to Friday between the hours of 06:30 - 19:30]
Location: Cheltenham
Includes an annual retention bonus of £2,000 (pro-rata), plus a holiday allowance of 30 days holiday per year, including Bank Holidays, plus 2.5 Privilege days per year.

We are looking to grow our existing Catering team at this prestigious site in Cheltenham. This is a full time position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 6:30am and 7:30pm.
Responsibilities
- Deliver excellent customer service at all times, anticipating and responding to customer needs.
- Operate coffee machines, handle cash, and prepare basic food items.
- Prepare and deliver hospitality across the site as required.
- Ensure correct stock rotation, assist with stocktaking, and minimize waste.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all work areas.
- Complete and maintain Food Safety and Health & Safety documentation, including temperature checks.
- Check equipment is in safe working order and report any faults promptly.
- Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, honesty, and teamwork at all times.
- Represent G4S positively as an ambassador, upholding company values.
- Undertake required training and development to meet company standards.
- Wear G4S uniform and safety footwear, ensuring a smart, presentable appearance.
- Be flexible to meet business needs, including occasional work at nearby units.
- Be proactive and adaptable to changing demands.
- Must be willing to obtain extended security clearance prior to employment.

Essential
- Relevant catering experience.
- Basic knowledge of Health & Safety and Food Safety.
- Basic knowledge of COSHH.
- Basic knowledge of due diligence requirements, allergens.
- Basic Food Hygiene Level 2
Desirable
- Food safety certificate
- Previous experience of a quality catering operation
- IT Competent
