Catering Assistant

Pinnacle Group is looking for an experienced Catering Assistant to support our catering operations in a staff canteen. You will join our Workplace on-site catering team at Deeside Industrial Estate, CH5.

Pinnacle Workplace delivers tailored facilities management solutions across cleaning, security, catering, and specialist industrial services. With nearly 600 colleagues nationwide, the team supports clients in manufacturing, retail, education, and office environments.

Your Responsibilities

  • Assisting with food preparation, serving meals, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas, and ensuring food safety standards are met.
  • Responsibility for maintaining and replenishing our on-site vending machines.
  • Assisting with the preparation, presentation, and service of food, along with barista service and vending duties.
  • Maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen and equipment.
  • Replenishing stock and supplies as required.
  • Carrying out vending duties, including restocking machines, checking temperatures, recording usage, and ensuring machines are fully operational.
  • Handling cashless payment systems where required.
  • Adhering to all food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Providing friendly and efficient customer service.

Who We're Looking For

  • You must be reliable and efficient and have a passion for providing excellent service.
  • You must be flexible and able to work in a multi-service team.
  • Previous catering or vending experience is desirable.
  • Knowledge of Basic Food Hygiene, Natashas Law, Benedict's Law, Health & Safety, and C.O.S.H.H. compliance.
