Location: Campsfield IRC, Kidlington, Oxfordshire, OX5 1RE
Salary: £27,716.95 / £13.28 per hour
Contract type: Permanent, full-time, 40 hours per week, 5 days out of 7 (includes some weekends)
Shift pattern: Times between 7:00 am to 9:00 pm
Eligibility
To be eligible for this role, due to the sector requirements: you must have resided in the UK for the past 5 years and have a legal right to work and must be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.
About the Role
As a Catering Assistant for Aramark UK at Campsfield IRC, you'll be part of a friendly team delivering high-quality food and customer service within a professional and supportive environment. From assisting with meal service to maintaining excellent hygiene standards, you'll play an important role in creating a positive experience for residents, staff, and visitors while developing your skills in a rewarding and varied role.

What You'll Do
- Basic food preparation if required, including sandwiches, grab and go items, basic hot food if required.
- Serving students, ensuring you are always providing excellent customer service.
- Stocking up and putting away deliveries.
- Serving food and clearing tables/bins/trays.
- General cleaning back and front of house, making sure the unit is clean and tidy before, during and after service.

What We're Looking For
- Food hygiene certificate – Level 2 desirable. However, relevant training will be provided.
- No previous experience required, but 1-2 years’ experience in a food services or retail environment desirable.
- Work well as part of a team.
