Catering Assistant
National Star is looking for an enthusiastic and efficient Catering Assistant to join our team providing a full catering service to our students based in Ullenwood, Cheltenham.
Role Description
This is a term time only post comprising of 40 hours per week, including alternate weekends with 7.30am - 3.30pm and 10.30 am - 6.30 pm shifts. You may be asked to work additional hours or different shifts according to the needs of our students.

Responsibilities
Working as an important part of the team, you will perform various duties including:
- Some food preparation
- Serving food
- Keeping the equipment and work areas clean
- Assisting the chef with the smooth running of the area
- Cash handling
Requirements
- Previous experience in a catering / kitchen assistant role (ideally in residential care or school environment) is required for this role
- A Basic Food Hygiene Certificate is desirable
