Salary: £25,614 pro rata (£11,552 - £15,885 per annum)
Hours: Part time, 20 to 27.5 hours per week, 38 weeks, term time only, ideally Monday to Friday 8 am to 2.30 pm
Contract: Temporary, required as soon as possible

About the Role
Debenham High School is seeking a self-motivated and experienced Catering Assistant to join our highly successful catering team working in our busy school kitchen and dining room. This is a temporary role covering for absence, initially until Christmas to be reviewed half termly thereafter.
Responsibilities
You will assist with food preparation, operating the tills and maintaining a clean and safe environment and will be someone who:
- has experience of commercial cooking
- pays attention to detail
- is reliable and self-motivated
- is a good team player
- maintains good working relationships with colleagues.

About the School
Debenham High School is a high achieving Church of England secondary academy, with approximately 714 students aged 11-16, and serves a catchment area north-west of Ipswich in rural Suffolk. The school is a founder school of the Heart of Suffolk Education Trust, which comprises three successful Church of England schools, all based in the heart of Suffolk.
