Catering Assistant
£25,086 per annum (pro rata)
30 hours per week / 30 weeks; 08:30-15:00 - This post is based at our Brackenhurst campus (term time only)
The working hours advertised are indicative and may be subject to change based on operational requirements. A flexible approach to working hours is essential, and further details regarding shift expectations will be provided as part of the role description.
About The Role
We operate over 4 campuses, 7 days a week so a flexible approach to working hour, and location, is essential.
We offer a range of modern food and beverage concepts, including barista style cafes, 'Grab and Go' products alongside a variety of freshly prepared hot dishes.
You'll be a friendly, approachable person who strives to deliver fantastic customer service.
Ideally, you'll have experience of working in a fast-paced, customer-facing, retail environment but it's not essential.
Duties include:
- Serving food
- Promoting sales and responding to customer queries
- Operating the cash register
- Collecting stock
- Some basic food preparation
Working with food it is important to maintain good hygiene standards, adhering to all health, safety, and departmental standards and procedures.
