We have an opening for an experienced catering assistant to join Morrisons Head Office as part of our Facilities team.
This is a part-time opportunity, initially fixed-term for 6 months with the view to go permanent.
We are open to hearing from individuals who can work 30 hours a week covering mornings/afternoons and weekends as our busy head office is open 6 days a week.
Our Catering team is extremely dedicated to providing a swift and friendly service for our colleagues within this large head office, whilst maintaining a clean and presentable environment in a modern office setting.
You’ll represent Morrisons in all activities, with our ways of working at the heart of everything you do.
Whilst we offer a friendly and rewarding work environment, there is no doubt that you’ll be kept busy. Therefore, it’s important that you are comfortable with a fast pace, whilst never compromising customer service and standards.

About You
We’ve built an incredibly diverse business, and we’re working hard to make sure we truly represent the communities we serve. For this role, we’re looking for someone who has:
- Catering experience, ideally within a fast-paced, volume environment
- Experienced and confident in food preparation, food service and customer service
- Knowledge of HACCP, Health & Safety, Food safety, safe assured catering and dietary requirements including allergens
- A team player with a positive attitude who is also happy to work on own initiative
- Excellent communication skills
- Organised, with a sense of urgency when required
- Comfortable working at pace, without compromising quality of service
- Keen to learn new skills and enhance existing ones
- Excellent organisational skill
- Comfortable using till systems (specific training provided)
- Flexible to work a variety of shifts and support additional/change shifts when required
