Part-Time Catering Assistant – Luton Sixth Form (LU2 7EW)
Location: Luton Sixth Form, LU2 7EW Contract: Permanent, term-time only Hours: 30 hours per week Salary: £13,951.64 per annum Working Weeks: 34 (term-time only)

Aramark UK is seeking a part-time Catering Assistant to join their team at Luton Sixth Form. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a close-knit team, supporting basic food preparation and service for school operations.

Responsibilities
As a Catering Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting food service and preparation. Key duties include:
- Serving food and beverages to students and staff, adhering to:
- Prescribed portioning, presentation, and combination standards
- Company brand policies
- Basic food preparation, directed by the Kitchen Manager in alignment with Aramark brand standards
- Handling monetary transactions (taking payments)
- Restocking goods and maintaining visual merchandising of food displays
- Cleaning duties:
- Back-of-house areas (eleven-kitchen maintenance)
- Counters and light equipment
- Communication:
- Reporting client feedback, complaints, stock needs, damages, hazards, or unconventional issues to manager
- Completing daily assigned paperwork
- Keeping diligent and accurate records
- Compliance:
- Strict adherence to food hygiene and health & safety regulations
- Mandatory training attendance as directed

Key Requirements
- Minimum: Previous experience in a fast-paced catering environment (preferably working to timelines)
- Willingness to work in a high-pressure school setting
