Hospitality Supervisor

Location: Coleg Gwent (across 5 campuses) Employer: Aramark UK


We are recruiting a Hospitality Supervisor to join our team in a permanent term-time role, working 30 hours per week (Monday to Friday) with access to comprehensive benefits. This role supports safeguarding and child welfare across our campuses, requiring participants to undertake safer recruitment checks, which includes references and an enhanced DBS check in compliance with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE).

Job Responsibilities

You will:

  • Organise team members to deliver service efficiently during busy periods.
  • Conduct stock counts, audits, inventory checks, and place orders.
  • Provide management support while covering for your manager on annual leave or at other sites.
  • Recruit, train, and oversee new and existing staff.
  • Manage daily administrative tasks:
    • Maintain rotas
    • Process payroll
    • Book holiday cover
    • Run daily team briefings
  • Respond promptly to customer complaints or feedback, ensuring high standards of service recovery.

✔ Pass full security vetting and an Enhanced DBS check.

✔ Hold previous experience in catering or retail, with a proven track record.

✔ Demonstrate leadership through experience as a team leader, including managing staff effectively.
