Osborne Primary School

Osborne Primary School is looking for a friendly, reliable and hardworking Catering Assistant to join our school catering team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working as part of a team and takes pride in helping to provide a welcoming and positive lunchtime experience for our pupils.

As a Catering Assistant, you will support the day-to-day running of our school kitchen and dining service. Your responsibilities will include helping with food preparation and service, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, and supporting the catering team to ensure pupils receive a safe, enjoyable and well-presented meal.

Working 12.5 hours per week, you will be an important part of the catering team, helping to create a positive lunchtime experience for our pupils.

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Friendly, approachable and able to work well with children and colleagues.
  • Reliable, organised and able to work as part of a team.
  • Committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and food safety.
  • Able to follow instructions and work effectively in a busy environment.
  • Positive and willing to contribute to the wider life of our school.

Previous experience in a catering or school environment would be an advantage, but we are also happy to consider candidates who have the right attitude and willingness to learn.
