Catering Assistant - Ecclesfold Resource Centre

We’re looking for a passionate and skilled catering assistant to join our friendly team at Ecclesfold Resource Centre. If you love being part of a team, creating nutritious, tasty meals and want a role where your work truly matters, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
What you’ll do:
- Assist the cook with preparing meals from a set menu, meeting individual dietary needs.
- Maintain top standards of cleanliness, food hygiene, and safety.
- Manage stock control and stock rotation efficiently.

What we’re looking for:
- Experience in food preparation (especially for large groups is a bonus!).
- Knowledge of Health & Safety, Food Hygiene, and dietary requirements. (Successful completion of the NVQ food hygiene certificate will be required upon appointment)
- Understanding of nutrition and hydration for older adults.
- Flexibility to work across 7 days, including weekends & bank holidays.
- Familiarity with the IDDSI framework is a plus - but we’ll support your growth!

Working pattern & hours:
- Tuesday, Thursday & Friday - there is flexibility available in the working pattern.
- Hours: 10am - 2pm
