About The Role
We are looking for an experienced Catering Assistant to join our kitchen, based at our state-of-the art factory in Barton-Upon-Humber. The position is full time, working 5 days a week from Monday to Friday, 06:00-14:30. Salary for this position is £28,332.
Driving licence is essential.
Main responsibilities:
- Dealing with the replenishment of vending machines.
- Ensuring stock levels are maintained for the vending machines by liaising with suppliers and regularly checking stock levels.
- Basic preparation, serving and handling of food in the canteen when required.
- Keeping the workstation tidy, includes clearing down at the end of the shift, washing up and good observation of cleanliness.
- Being part of the cleaning rota on a weekly basis.

About You
Desired Skills and Knowledge:
- Catering experience (essential).
- Good communication skills.
- Customer service experience.
- Ability to cover other members of staff due to holidays, sickness etc.
- Interest and knowledge of food.
- Capable of working in a culturally diverse environment.
- Driving licence is essential.
