CATERING ASSISTANT
24 Hours per Week | Monday to Thursday | 8:30am - 2:30pm | 14.50 per hour | Uxbridge

At Houston & Hawkes, we're looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team at a modern workplace in Uxbridge. This role is ideal for someone looking for an excellent work-life balance, whether you're returning to work, fitting your role around family life or simply looking for your afternoons free.
You'll play an important role in the smooth running of the kitchen, helping with morning preparation, supporting our grab-and-go offer and delivering exceptional customer service during lunchtime.
THE ROLE
- Support the chefs with morning kitchen preparation
- Prepare and replenish the grab-and-go offer
- Deliver friendly and professional customer service during lunch service
- Prepare high-quality coffees and speciality drinks
- Keep food counters fully stocked and beautifully presented
- Maintain clean dining and service areas throughout the day
- Support the wider catering team wherever required
- Follow food safety, health and hygiene standards at all times

What You'll Bring
- Previous catering or hospitality experience
- Barista experience is essential
- A positive, can-do attitude
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- The ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
- Pride in delivering consistently high standards
