Catering Business Development Lead - The Caring Kitchen

Location: The Prince of Wales Hospice, WF8 4BG

Salary: £30,672 - £34,958 FTE (dependent on experience)

Hours: 30 hours per week, flexibility required

The Caring Kitchen is the commercial catering trading arm of The Prince of Wales Hospice - providing catering for corporate, community and private events while generating vital income to support patient and family care.

We’re looking for an ambitious, commercially focused Catering Business Development Lead to help us take The Caring Kitchen to the next level.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys winning new business, developing relationships, spotting opportunities and turning them into revenue. You’ll play a key role in growing our customer base, increasing bookings and developing The Caring Kitchen’s reputation as a catering provider of choice.

About The Role

This is an exciting new role focused on business growth and commercial development for The Caring Kitchen. Working closely with the Catering Services Manager, Fundraising and Marketing teams, you’ll take an active role in identifying and developing new business opportunities across corporate, community and private events.

You’ll be responsible for building strong customer and business relationships, promoting our catering services and converting opportunities into bookings.

About You

We are looking for someone with:

  • Experience in business development, sales or account management
  • Excellent communication and networking skills
  • A proactive and customer-focused approach
  • A proven ability to develop opportunities and achieve targets
  • Strong organisational and relationship management skills
  • Hold a full, valid UK driving licence and be confident driving as part of the role
  • Experience in catering, hospitality or events (desirable)
