Role Description

This full-time remote Catering Engineer role is responsible for supporting customers with technical expertise across the full lifecycle of commercial catering equipment. Day-to-day tasks include:

  • Advising on installation requirements
  • Coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and setup

The Catering Engineer will also collaborate closely with manufacturers and suppliers to stay current on product specifications, safety standards, and industry developments.

Qualifications

  • Technical proficiency with commercial catering equipment, including installation, basic fault-finding, and performance optimization.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills for working remotely with colleagues, manufacturers, and clients.
  • Solid organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple service requests and projects.
  • Working knowledge of safety standards and relevant regulations in the commercial catering environment.
  • Comfort with using digital tools and remote support platforms to assist customers and manage service records.
  • Previous experience in commercial catering equipment, facilities engineering, or a related technical field is highly beneficial.
  • Relevant technical qualification or apprenticeship in engineering, electrical, or mechanical disciplines is an advantage.
