Vickerstock is working in partnership with a well-established and growing supplier to the catering trade to recruit an experienced Catering Equipment Engineer to join their successful Service Team.
Our client has built a strong reputation for service, quality, and value, supporting a growing customer base across Northern Ireland and Ireland. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Catering Equipment Engineer to join a well-established business and play an important role in delivering a high-quality service to customers.

The role itself
Working as part of the Service Team, you will be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, and repairing a range of commercial catering equipment at customer sites and within the workshop. You will work closely with:
- A dedicated office and service team
- Existing Service Engineers - Team of 6
- Customers and site contacts
- Equipment manufacturers and suppliers
The role is effectively fully remote and will involve attending customer sites to diagnose faults, carry out repairs, and provide a professional and reliable service, while also supporting workshop-based repairs where required. As a representative of the Service Team, customer satisfaction and a positive, professional attitude will be key to your success.

Your essential ingredients
- Minimum of 2 years' experience working with commercial catering equipment
- Experience working with gas, electrical, and/or refrigeration equipment
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Customer-focused approach
- The ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- Good communication skills and a professional manner
- A full driving license
- Gas Safe and/or Refrigeration qualifications would be a significant advantage, although candidates with strong relevant catering equipment experience are encouraged to apply.
