Catering Assistant
Location: Bisham Abbey, Marlow, SL7 1RR
Salary: £8.00 - £12.71 per hour dependent on age
Schedule: Working various shift patterns across the weekdays and weekends from 8am – 1am.

As a Catering Assistant in our Leisure and Hospitality team, you’ll help create a welcoming experience for visitors, athletes, conference guests, and event attendees. From serving food and supporting hospitality events to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, your work will help ensure every guest enjoys a positive experience.
This is a varied and hands-on role where no two days are the same. You’ll support food service operations, hospitality events, weddings, conferences, and café activities, helping to create memorable experiences while contributing to a safe, clean, and professional environment. Our work touches lives every day, and your contribution will have a positive impact on the communities and customers we serve.
What you’ll do as a Catering Assistant
- Serve food to customers while maintaining excellent portion control and presentation standards
- Welcome and assist customers, athletes, sports camps, conference delegates, and event guests
- Clear tables and collect used crockery to maintain a clean and organised environment
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness across all catering and hospitality areas
- Process cash and card payments accurately within the café operation
- Support hospitality services including bar service, events, weddings, and conferences where required
