We're recruiting experienced and motivated Catering Managers to join our team at Scottish Gas Murrayfield for Scotland's huge 2026 Autumn International fixtures.

Be part of the incredible matchday atmosphere as Scotland welcome New Zealand, Australia and Japan to Edinburgh this November.

You'll Have The Opportunity To Work Across

  • Scotland v New Zealand – Saturday 7 November 2026
  • Scotland v Australia – Sunday 15 November 2026
  • Scotland v Japan – Saturday 21 November 2026

This is an exciting opportunity for experienced catering and hospitality professionals to lead teams within one of the UK's most iconic sporting venues.

The Role

As a Catering Manager, you'll take responsibility for the successful operation of designated catering areas within Scottish Gas Murrayfield.

You'll lead and motivate your team to deliver efficient service, excellent operational standards and a fantastic experience for supporters throughout each matchday.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage catering teams throughout matchday operations.
  • Ensure outlets are fully prepared, stocked and ready before opening.
  • Brief, allocate and motivate team members.
  • Maintain excellent standards of customer service.
  • Oversee food service, presentation and product availability.
  • Ensure food hygiene, allergen, health & safety and company procedures are followed.
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment throughout service.
  • Oversee till and cashless payment procedures.
  • Manage busy service periods efficiently and resolve operational issues quickly.
  • Ensure catering areas remain clean, organised and professionally presented.
  • Coordinate setup and close-down procedures.
  • Work closely with senior event and venue management teams.
  • Complete required operational checks and reporting.

About You

We're looking for people who:

  • Have previous catering, hospitality or event management experience.
  • Have experience supervising or managing teams.
  • Are confident leading people in high-volume environments.
  • Have strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Remain calm and solutions-focused under pressure.
  • Have excellent customer service standards.
  • Understand food hygiene, allergen awareness and health & safety requirements.
  • Are reliable, professional and proactive.
  • Are available to work the Autumn International matchdays at Murrayfield.
