Catering Manager

Location: Didcot

Salary: Up to £38,197 per annum

Hours: Monday to Friday, with occasional evenings and weekends for hospitality events

About The Role

Are you an experienced Catering Manager who is passionate about great food, exceptional service and creating a fantastic customer experience?

We’re looking for a Catering Manager to join our Eurest team in Didcot, leading a high-quality catering operation with a strong focus on hospitality.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands-on, building great relationships and taking ownership of an operation. You’ll lead a talented team, drive standards and work closely with the client to ensure we consistently deliver an outstanding service.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Manage the day-to-day catering operation, ensuring consistently high food and service standards.
  • Lead, motivate and develop the catering team, creating a positive and engaging working environment.
  • Take ownership of budgets, stock control, ordering and overall financial performance.
  • Ensure full compliance with food safety, Health & Safety and allergen standards.
  • Monitor customer feedback and satisfaction, identifying ways to continually improve the service.
  • Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
  • Support and deliver hospitality and events, ensuring every detail is right.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the operation, increase engagement and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
  • Take ownership of challenges, finding practical solutions and driving continuous improvement.

About You

We’re looking for someone who brings experience, energy and a genuine passion for hospitality.

You’ll Ideally Have

  • Previous experience managing a catering, hospitality or food service operation.
  • Proven experience leading, motivating and developing a team.
  • Strong commercial awareness, with experience managing budgets, costs and stock control.
  • A good understanding of food safety, Health & Safety and allergen compliance.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • A customer-focused approach and a genuine passion for delivering great service.
  • The confidence to build effective relationships with clients and senior stakeholders.
  • The ability to work independently, make decisions and take ownership of the operation.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
  • A genuine passion for food, people and delivering high standards.
