Are you an experienced Catering Manager who knows how to deliver great food, exceptional customer service and a high-performing operation?

Eurest is looking for a confident and commercially minded Catering Manager to lead our catering operation at Virgin Media O2 in Sheffield.

This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a new and improved food and service offering within a busy call centre-based office, working alongside senior business leaders and a valued client team.

We’re looking for someone who can build strong relationships at the highest level, lead from the front and consistently raise the bar.

The Role

As Catering Manager, you’ll take overall responsibility for the day-to-day catering operation and the team on site. You’ll ensure that standards, service and customer experience are consistently excellent, while keeping a close eye on commercial performance.

You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Leading, motivating and developing the on-site catering team.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with senior client stakeholders.
  • Managing the full day-to-day operation and ensuring service levels never drop.
  • Taking ownership of HSE, HR, Profit Protection, PCI, food safety and compliance.
  • Managing GP performance, with a target of 40%.
  • Monitoring and controlling stock, purchasing and wastage.
  • Taking full responsibility for ordering and planning the weekly menu for this smaller site.
  • Managing stock takes and ensuring accurate Nexus accounts.
  • Monitoring and delivering against customer satisfaction measures, including "Did We Make You Smile", with a target of 10% monthly.
  • Ensuring all daily HSE standards are maintained.
  • Managing HACCP and food safety procedures.
  • Ensuring compliance with Natasha’s Law, allergen management and food safety legislation.
  • Ensuring safe working practices, including manual handling requirements.
  • Working closely with Compass and the client to continually improve the food offer and overall customer experience.
  • Supporting the team as a hands-on leader when required.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Raising the Bar

This role is about more than simply managing a catering operation.

You’ll have the opportunity to shape the offer, listen to customers, work closely with senior stakeholders and continually look for ways to improve.

The successful candidate will be someone who takes ownership, spots opportunities and doesn't settle for "good enough."

You'll ideally have:

  • Previous experience as a Catering Manager within a B&I contract catering environment.
  • Strong commercial awareness and experience working to an achievable GP target.
  • Proven experience managing and developing a catering team.
